2010 FUND DRIVE
While we know that people may not like receiving calls from professional telemarketers, the members of NEPBA Local 27 are not fundraisers and we all work fulltime jobs. If we did not use professional telemarketers we would have to hold several smaller scale fund raising events each and every year. We feel that TCI offers the biggest bang for the buck and is the least intrusive for the residents of the Town of Hanover. -- Thanks for understanding !
2008 CHARITY SOFTBALL GAME
On Saturday August 30th, 2008 NEPBA Local 27 held a charity Softball game against Bill Lee's All Stars featuring retired Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins. The "NEPBA 27 All-Stars" gave it our best effort but in the end we lost. (I know you're shocked , right ?)
The event was held at the Sachem Village Softball Field off Rt 10 in West Lebanon.Big Fatty's BBQ provided the concession stand with their famous Ribs, Wings and Pulled Pork.
The threat of bad weather kept some people away but all of us who played and those who attended had a great time and we were able to raise some money, some of which went to fund community dinners for those in need in the Upper Valley as well as supporting the wonderful staff and residents of the Outreach House.
We'd like to thank everyone who bought ad space in our 2009 calendar or made donations and also a big thanks to all of the Businesses who contributed or donated merchandise or services. A special thanks to our fundraisers, TCI America and to Bill Lee and his All Stars for helping make this a great community event.
Last but not least I would like to thank all of the "NEPBA 27 ALL STAR" Players. Its not easy to play against talented, professional sports stars and salvage any of your dignity but everyone had fun and that's really all that matters.
