A Brief Message From Our President.

With the change of new officers within NEPBA  27 come other changes, including those to our webpage.  For this reason, we hope that our followers will be patient as future information will be added.

Local 27 History

While our Union Local is small when compared to more urban areas, we are a dedicated and active group. Formed in 2000, our issues are common to most unions; wages & benefits, working conditions and equal treatment. The men and women of Local 27 support our community through community dinners, scholarships, project graduation, a bike giveaway program and working with local kids. We have adopted a small local assisted living house and its senior residents. We also support the National Law Enforcement Memorial & Museum and other projects.

Initially we were members of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers (IBPO) but disaffiliated with them in January 2007 due to a lack of legal representation and a lack of attention to issues specific to Union members in New Hampshire and in law enforcement in general.

In January 2007 we unanimously voted to affiliate with the New England Police Benevolent Association (NEPBA) and The International Union of Police Associations (IUPA). We are extremely proud of our relationship with NEPBA and look forward to growing with them. I hope you enjoy the website and find it useful. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Stay Safe !
